The North Bullitt Eagles will face off against the Spencer County Bears at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. North Bullitt is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.1 runs per game this season.
North Bullitt will bounce into Monday's match after beating North Oldham, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. The Eagles came out on top against the Mustangs by a score of 11-7 on Friday.
Amree Hammons was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching three innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off three hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 11 consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with two runs and one RBI.

North Bullitt is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-11 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.8 runs over those games. As for Spencer County, they now have a losing record of 9-10.
Monday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. North Bullitt hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .343. However, it's not like Spencer County struggles in that department as they've averaged .339. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Everything went North Bullitt's way against Spencer County in their previous matchup back in March of 2023, as North Bullitt made off with an 11-5 win. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Bears have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
