Hayes managed to keep up with Big Walnut until halftime on Thursday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Pacers lost 7-4 to the Golden Eagles. The result was nothing new for Hayes as the team has yet to pick up a win this season.

Hayes' defeat dropped their record down to 0-4-1. As for Big Walnut, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hayes will venture away from home to face off against Westerville North at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Big Walnut, they will head out to square off against Watkins Memorial at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. Watkins Memorial will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Big Walnut surely won't give up without a fight.
