Shroder Paideia Academy won the last time they faced Gamble Montessori and things went their way on Monday too. The Jaguars were the clear victors by a 17-3 margin over the Gators. The result was nothing new for the Jaguars, who have now won eight matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Corey Moody made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out seven batters over four innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off three hits. Those seven strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was even better at the plate, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three stolen bases, five RBI, and two runs. He has been hot, having posted two or more stolen bases the last six times he's played.

In other batting news, Shroder Paideia Academy got a massive performance out of Jacob Mccoy, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with six stolen bases and three runs. Those six stolen bases gave Mccoy a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Ja'Rod Reynolds, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with four stolen bases and three runs.

Shroder Paideia Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .759. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .552 or higher in ten consecutive contests.

Shroder Paideia Academy's victory bumped their record up to 10-4. As for Gamble Montessori, they dropped their record down to 1-7 with the loss, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.
