Memphis Academy of Health Sciences couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They had victory within their grasp but couldn't quite capture it last Thursday as the team lost 8-9 to Bolivar Central.
Last week, Douglass had a bit more than a touchdown to spare in a 26-14 win over Craigmont.
Douglass's victory lifted them to 1-1 while Memphis Academy of Health Sciences's loss dropped them down to 0-1. Memphis Academy of Health Sciences's offensive line will need to gear up for a tough test against a Douglass defensive front that amassed 3 sacks against Craigmont, so we'll see if they are up to the task.
