Delhi Charter won the last time they faced Delta Charter and things went their way on Monday too. Everything went the Delhi Charter Gators' way against the Delta Charter Storm as the Delhi Charter Gators made off with a 16-6 victory. Considering the Gators have won seven games by more than six runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Thomas Mize made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out eight batters over four innings while giving up just one earned (and four unearned) runs off five hits. He has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, scoring three runs and stealing Two bases. while going 4-for-5. Those four hits gave him a new career-high.

In other batting news, Delhi Charter got a massive performance out of Caden Wiggins, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4. The dominant performance gave Wiggins a new career-high in hits. Will Brown was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing a base while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances.

Delhi Charter kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.

Delhi Charter pushed their record up to 7-8 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Delta Charter, their loss dropped their record down to 6-8.

Looking ahead, Delhi Charter will host Block at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Delta Charter, they will head out to take on West Ouachita at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
