Emily Needham was a major factor no matter where she played. She struck out seven batters over four innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 25 consecutive appearances. She was even better at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one home run, six RBI, and one double.
