It's playoff time, and Somerset Academy - Canyons had no trouble coming through when it counted. They never let the Atlantic Sharks get on the board and left with a 34-0 victory on Wednesday. The result was nothing new for the Cougars, who have now won 11 matchups by 20 points or more so far this season.

Ava Wotipka had another great game (as she tends to do), throwing for 219 yards and two TDs, while also rushing for 58 yards and one touchdown on only six carries. That's the most rushing yards she has posted since back in March.

Somerset Academy - Canyons didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. Delanie Doty led the group effort, picking up two of those interceptions all by herself. Wotipka got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Somerset Academy - Canyons' win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-3. The home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 46.3 points over those games. As for Atlantic, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 10-8.

Coming up, Somerset Academy - Canyons will host Gateway Charter at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Cougars 5.5, the Griffins 8.5) so any points scored will be well earned. Atlantic does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
