Basketball Recap: Lake Country Classical Academy Piles Up the Points Against Lincoln Academy

Lake Country Classical Academy won the last time they faced Lincoln Academy and things went their way on Monday too. The Lake Country Classical Academy Sentinels breezed past Lincoln Academy to the tune of 72-31. The Sentinels have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 24 points or more this season.

Lake Country Classical Academy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was John Walker, who went 7-for-10 en route to 21 points in addition to seven assists and six boards. Those 21 points gave Walker a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Jude Kolstad, who went 9-for-16 on his way to 20 points along with eight assists and seven rebounds.

Walker wasn't the only one working in the assist department: Lake Country Classical Academy was working as a unit and finished the game with 19 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Lake Country Classical Academy is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-7 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.3 points over those games. Lincoln Academy is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Lake Country Classical Academy has already played their next game, a 60-41 loss against New Berlin West on the 15th. Lincoln Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
