Pinnacle Classical Academy won the last time they faced Challenger and things went their way on Friday too. The Eagles came out on top against the Firebirds by a score of 56-45. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Eagles.
Braylon Gentry produced another solid effort putting up 21 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Sage Ross, who posted 15 points.
Despite the defeat, Challenger saw an underclassman step up: sophomore AJ Burch went 6-for-13 on his way to 17 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Burch has scored all season. Logan Lee was another key player, scoring eight points and five rebounds.
Pinnacle Classical Academy's victory bumped their record up to 3-7. As for Challenger, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.
