The biggest upset of the week belonged to Haverford, who took down 147th ranked Conestoga, 28-17.
Marple Newtown's Adrian Sapnas recorded the longest rushing play in Central this season in his game against Radnor last week. Sapnas' team beat the Red Raiders as he sprinted for 82 yards on the play and finished with 189 in all.
Nick Volpi was a key player and the best on defense this week as Marple Newtown bested Radnor. The 5-foot-11 senior racked up 1 sack.
Sapnas was a passing and rushing force as Ray Gionta's team beat Tom Ryan's team.
LaVaughn Frame was the best wideout in the league this week as Penncrest lost to Garnet Valley. Frame tallied 3 receptions for 68 yards. Clay Anderson helped Penncrest's passing attack out by catching 4 balls for 29 yards.
At the moment, the Jaguars are in first, while Strath Haven is in eighth.
Upper Darby scaled the state rankings by moving to 108 from 144 this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Royals were able to move up by beating Ridley 21-14.
