In what's become a running theme this season, the Stilwell Indians gave their fans yet another huge victory on Friday. They claimed a resounding 76-33 victory over Sallisaw at home. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest victory Stilwell has managed all season.
Stilwell was led to victory by Snowda Watie and Prairie Holmes. Watie scored 21 points along with eight steals and five rebounds, while Holmes scored 21 points along with six steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Holmes has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Kaylea Benham, who scored ten points along with four steals.
The win (which was Stilwell's third in a row) raised their record to 10-2. As for Sallisaw, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-9.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Roland the next time they take the court. Stilwell will head out to face Roland at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Sallisaw will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on January 23rd.
