Softball Recap: Fallston Has No Trouble Against Aberdeen

Fallston got themselves on the board against Aberdeen on Monday, but Aberdeen never followed suit. They put the hurt on the Eagles with a sharp 20-0 victory. The Cougars might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 matchups by six runs or more this season.

The team relied heavily on Ally Underwood, who went 3-for-4 with four runs, five RBI, and one stolen base. Those five RBI gave her a new career-high. Peyton Greiner also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

Fallston hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least two batters in three consecutive contests.

Fallston's record now sits at 12-3. As for Aberdeen, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fallston will take on Notre Dame Prep at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Aberdeen, they will square off against Joppatowne at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
