The Fordham Prep Rams's road trip will continue as they head out to face the LaSalle Academy Cardinals at 1:00 p.m. on February 4th. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Friday, Fordham Prep came up short against the Raiders and fell 65-54.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Ryan Jackson, who scored 16 points along with five rebounds. Matthew Kapfer was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
Meanwhile, LaSalle Academy's recent rough patch got a bit rougher back in January after their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a rough 74-28 loss at the hands of Fordham Prep. LaSalle Academy was down 57-20 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.
Fordham Prep's loss ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 16-4. As for LaSalle Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.
Everything came up roses for Fordham Prep against the Cardinals in their previous meeting back in January as the squad secured a 74-28 win. With Fordham Prep ahead 38-14 at the half, the game was all but over already.
