Hoffman Estates had a senior duo take command as Matt Lawson rushed for 80 yards and four touchdowns and Stephon Sellers gained 47 total yards and six touchdowns.
The win makes it two in a row for Hoffman Estates and bumps their season record up to 6-3. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 2-7 Schaumburg and 3-6 Fremd. As for Fremd, their loss dropped their record down to 3-6.
Hoffman Estates will head out on the road to face off against Lincoln-Way West at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Illinois (Lincoln-Way West is ranked 50th, while Hoffman Estates is ranked 69th).
