Heritage Academy Gateway can now show off five landslide victories after their most recent contest on Tuesday. They took their contest at home with ease, bagging a 57-22 win over Canyon State Academy. That looming 57-22 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Heritage Academy Gateway yet this season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Heritage Academy Gateway to victory, but perhaps none more so than Landon Johnston, who scored 20 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Johnston has scored all season. Bowen Gallup was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with four steals.
Meanwhile, ASU Prep Poly earned a 51-43 victory over Mission Heights Prep on Tuesday.
Heritage Academy Gateway pushed their record up to 9-1 with that victory, which was their third straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.0 points per game. As for ASU Prep Poly, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.
