First Academy can finally bid farewell to their eight-game losing streak thanks to their game on Thursday. They secured a 55-51 W over St. Teresa's Catholic. First Academy's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead First Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Logan James, who scored 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Rylan Peacock, who scored 14 points.
Community Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for First Academy, their win bumped their record up to 1-6.
