The Buford Yellowjackets were the 34-33 winner over the Lewisville Lions when they last played one another back in December of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Buford lost to Lewisville on the road by a decisive 29-12 margin on Wednesday.
Lewisville can attribute much of their success to Trinity Baker, who scored 13 points along with 9 steals. Another player making a difference was Aiyana Murrell, who scored 6 points along with 12 rebounds.
Buford's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Lewisville, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Buford will take on Lewisville at 6:15 p.m. on December 8th. As for Lewisville, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Whitmire at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
