Alief Taylor fell victim to Pearland's stalwart defense on Tuesday and couldn't make it onto the board. They were the victim of a rough 5-0 defeat at the hands of the Oilers. Alief Taylor has struggled against Pearland recently, as their matchup on Tuesday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Shadow Creek's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They fell just short of Dawson by a score of 3-2.
Paula Walker wasn't going to let Dawson walk away unscathed as she scored both of Shadow Creek's goals. With that big game, she's now up to seven goals this season.
Alief Taylor has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-5 record this season. As for Shadow Creek, they now have a losing record at 5-6-1.
