The Anna Coyotes have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 22 points or more this season. They blew past Emerson 66-44. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Anna.
Anna can attribute much of their success to Ayonna Cooper, who scored 17 points along with nine rebounds and seven steals. That's the first time this season that Cooper scored 15 or more points. Valajah Jackson was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with nine rebounds.
Anna is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a massive bump to their 8-9 record this season. As for Emerson, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-7.
Anna has the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Krum at 6:15 p.m. on December 19th. Krum is looking to tack on another W to their five-game streak on the road. As for Emerson, they will square off against Centennial at 5:45 p.m. on Friday. Centennial is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.
