Eaton has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will challenge the Valley Vikings at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Eaton focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up ten on Thursday.
Eaton can now show off five landslide victories after their most recent game. They breezed by Sterling at home to the tune of 54-18. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Eaton has posted since December 1, 2023.
Eaton found their leader in underclassman Saryiah Gaona, who scored 13 points along with eight rebounds and three steals. Gaona hasn't dropped below two steals for six straight games. Tayla Wiedeman was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with three steals.
Valley suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Saturday. They were outmatched by Strasburg at home and fell 56-29. Valley has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Eaton is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a massive bump to their 6-5 record this season. As for Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-5.
Everything went Eaton's way against Valley when the teams last played back in February of 2023 as Eaton made off with a 54-29 win. With Eaton ahead 35-8 at the half, the match was all but over already.
