Frankton is 8-1 against Taylor since November of 2014 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Frankton Eagles will look to defend their home court against the Taylor Titans at 7:30 p.m. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Frankton took a loss when they played away from home on Monday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They took their matchup with ease, bagging a 63-36 victory over Madison-Grant. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Eagles have posted against the Argylls since January 11, 2019.

Frankton's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Brady Carmack led the charge by dropping a double-double on 22 points and 11 rebounds. With that strong performance, Carmack is now averaging an impressive 15.4 points per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Trey Bennett, who almost dropped a double-double on 18 points and nine boards.
Meanwhile, Taylor hadn't done well against Western recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. Taylor slipped by Western 50-49. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Titans.
Frankton better focus on containing Drey Mcclatchey and Javionne Harris as the pair were huge in Taylor's win. Mcclatchey went 9 for 14 on his way to 23 points, while Harris dropped a double-double on 15 points and 13 rebounds. Harris has been hot, having posted nine or more boards the last six times he's played. Another player making a difference was Christian Hall, who posted six points and seven steals.
Frankton's victory was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-7. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.0 points per game. As for Taylor, their win bumped their record up to 12-1.
Tuesday's contest will pit two of the most dominant forwards against one another: Carmack and Harris. Carmack has been dynamite this season: he has averaged 15.4 points, 2.5 steals, and 8.3 rebounds. For his part, Harris has averaged 15 points, 1.5 blocks, and 13.5 boards on 51.4% shooting.
Frankton came up short against Taylor when the teams last played back in November of 2022, falling 60-53. Thankfully for Frankton, Mekhi Mcgee (who went 8 of 12 en route to 20 points along with five assists and five rebounds) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result? There's only one way to find out.
