Green Hope had won four straight games and Abigail Brown did her part to make it five on Friday. Everything went the Green Hope Falcons' way against the Cary Imps as the Green Hope Falcons made off with a 59-34 victory thanks to Brown, who dropped a double-double with 32 points and ten rebounds. The matchup was her eighth in a row with at least 16 points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Sarah George, who went 5-for-8 to rack up 10 points and three steals. What's more, she also posted a 63% shooting accuracy, which is the highest she's achieved since back in November of 2024.

Cary lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Kyndall Brewington, who posted six points in addition to five assists and five boards. She has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last four times she's played. Another player making a difference was Jenna Hayes, who scored seven points.

Green Hope's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-6. As for Cary, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-14 record this season.

Green Hope has already played their next game, a 78-59 defeat against Holly Springs on the 17th. As for Cary, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 56-44 loss against Panther Creek on the 17th.
