The Hoggard Vikings will face off against the Willow Spring Storm at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hoggard is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.
Two weeks ago, everything came up roses for Hoggard against Ashley as the team secured a 38-8 win. The result was nothing new for the Vikings, who have now won seven contests by 22 points or more so far this season.
Matthew Boring produced another solid performance rushing for 32 yards and a pair of scores, while also throwing for 110 yards while completing 72.7% of his passes.
Hoggard's run defense was locked in: Ashley could only muster 1.5 yards per carry. The team can thank Josh Tingelstad for the heroic effort on defense: he. Sadly, that's becoming something of a trend for Hoggard; they were averaging 4.2yards per carry per game earlier this season, but in their last three matchups they've fallen to only 4 per game.

Josh Tingelstad
| 10/31/25 @ Ashley | 10 |
| 10/24/25 vs North Brunswick | 8 |
| 10/17/25 vs Laney | 10 |
| 10/10/25 @ Topsail | 6 |
| 10/03/25 @ New Hanover | 6 |
Hoggard didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Tingelstad and Graham McNeely. Tingelstad is also on a roll when it comes to total tackles, as he's now made six or more in each of the last five games he's played.
Meanwhile, two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Willow Spring walked away with it. They enjoyed a cozy 31-12 victory over the Buccaneers on Friday. Considering the Storm's offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.
Hoggard better keep an eye on Ethan Dyk Es. He was instrumental in Willow Spring's win, throwing for 224 yards and two touchdowns. Dyk Es' passing game has become a key predictor of the Storm's success: the team is undefeated when his passer rating is 100 or higher, but only 1-5 otherwise. Javel Smith handled things on the ground, rushing for 87 yards.
Willow Spring's defense made their presence known, laying out Ryan Gallagher three times. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Jayden Green, Jakson Stewart, and Drew Burgin, who each picked up one sack apiece.
Hoggard's win bumped their record up to 10-0. As for Willow Spring, they now have a winning record of 6-5.
