Honaker's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Tailor Nolley, who scored 20 points along with seven rebounds and five assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Alayna McNulty, who scored 17 points along with five assists.
Patrick Henry has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-17 record this season. As for Honaker, the victory was the 13th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 18-3.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Patrick Henry will challenge Honaker at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Honaker, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Chilhowie at 6:00 p.m. on February 9th. Honaker knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past eight matchups -- so hopefully Chilhowie likes a good challenge.
