Bishop Stang strolled into their game on Wednesday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They blew past the Cardinal Spellman Cardinals 11-1. The Spartans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three matches by eight runs or more this season.

Landon Cardoza looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out eight over four innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up a single earned run in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Drew Taylor, who scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. Matt Burt was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.

Bishop Stang always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .613. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
