Malaiya Castro produced her most outstanding game to date while leading Lovington to the win on Tuesday. Castro was dynamite, scoring 28 points along with two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season.
Castro and Lovington will be playing in front of their home fans against Portales at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Lovington has some work to do to even out the 2-7 series between these two since February of 2020, but a win here would be a good start.
