After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Advance, Holcomb was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Clarkton Reindeer with a sharp 21-1 victory. The Hornets' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
Ava Gurley was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.
