Sophia Rosner made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 11 batters over five innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits (and not a single walk). That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in May of 2025. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and one double.
In other batting news, Benet Academy let Alaina Rosner and Ester Lynn Rossi run wild. Rosner went 3-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and one double, while Rossi went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, two RBI, and one double. Those two RBI gave Rossi a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Despina Patos, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
Benet Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .576. They are a perfect 6-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.
Providence Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 24-7. As for Benet Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 18-15.
