Shepard got themselves on the board against Argo on Tuesday, but Argo never followed suit. They walked away with a 3-0 victory over the Argonauts. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 10-0 back in April.

Shepard has been performing well recently as they've won 14 of their last 17 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-6 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.2 runs over those games. As for Argo, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 18-8 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Shepard will host Oak Forest at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Argo, they will welcome Hancock at 4:30 p.m. on the 22nd.
