Basketball Game Preview: Woodlawn Prep Wolfpack vs. Discovery Christian

The Woodlawn Prep Wolfpack will venture away from home to take on Discovery Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Woodlawn Prep got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Cole Sinclair out in front who went 8 for 15 on his way to 20 points and five boards. Meanwhile, Discovery Christian lost to Sylva Bay Academy on the road by a 48-30 margin on Thursday.

Woodlawn Prep pushed their record up to 20-3 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 35.6 points. As for Discovery Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-6.

Everything went Woodlawn Prep's way against Discovery Christian when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as Woodlawn Prep made off with a 52-31 win. In that contest, Woodlawn Prep amassed a halftime lead of 35-12, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
