The St. Mary Cathedral Snowbirds lost against the Inland Lakes Bulldogs back in February of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. St. Mary Cathedral took a 51-38 hit to the loss column at the hands of Inland Lakes. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points St. Mary Cathedral has scored all season.
Leading Inland Lakes to victory were Aidan Fenstermaker and Sam Schoonmaker. Fenstermaker scored 19 points, while Schoonmaker dropped a double-double on 12 points and 11 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Fenstermaker has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Payton Teuthorn, who scored six points along with six rebounds.
St. Mary Cathedral's loss dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Inland Lakes, the win got them back to even at 5-5.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Mary Cathedral's road trip will continue as they head out to face Forest Area at 7:30 p.m. on January 23rd. As for Inland Lakes, they will square off against Central Lake at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Central Lake is out to stop a three-game streak of losses at home.
