The Daniel Lions scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They walked away with a 62-52 win over Blacksburg.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Daniel to victory, but perhaps none more so than Lila Mann, who scored 16 points along with five assists. Those 16 points set a new season-high mark for her. Colleen DiMaio was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with seven rebounds.
Daniel's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Blacksburg, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.
Daniel will head out on the road to face off against Easley at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in South Carolina (Easley is ranked 152nd, while Daniel is ranked 138th). As for Blacksburg, they will play host again and welcome Broome, where tip off is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
