The Raby Raiders will head out on the road to face off against the Alcott Wildcats at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Raby will be strutting in after a win while Alcott will be coming in after a loss.
Last Tuesday, Raby narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Uplift 53-51. That's two games straight that Raby has won by exactly two points.
Raby's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Zamequa Hillard, who scored 25 points along with 5 rebounds and 3 steals. The contest was Hillard's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Zo?mya Page, who scored 18 points along with 5 rebounds.
Meanwhile, Alcott's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their third straight loss. They ended up on the wrong side of a tough 38-12 walloping at the hands of Chicago Marshall.
Their wins bumped Raby to 3-1 and Uplift to 2-5.
