The Dupree Tigers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They were outmatched by Harding County at home and fell 54-16. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Dupree has scored all season.
Harding County's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Macey Wendt, who scored 13 points along with five steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Wendt has scored all season. Kamry Padden was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Dupree's loss dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Harding County, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 15-0.
Dupree will head out on the road to square off against Stanley County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in South Dakota (Stanley County is ranked 140th, while Dupree is ranked 119th). As for Harding County, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Tiospaye Topa at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Harding County is coming into the matchup with eight straight wins at home, meaning Tiospaye Topa will have to defend against a team hungry for a win.
