Camden County has gone 7-2 against Hertford County recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Bruins will venture away from home to face off against the Bears at 6:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Camden County has three straight wins, Hertford County has ten straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Last Friday, Camden County got the win against Northeastern by a conclusive 11-1. Considering the Bruins have won seven contests by more than eight runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Cole Roberts was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out seven over four innings pitched. Roberts was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-2. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played.
In other batting news, Bradley Elias was incredible, going 1-for-4 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one triple. Those three stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Chase Sanders also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.
Camden County was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .429. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their batting average total in three consecutive games.
Meanwhile, Hertford County lost 21-6 to First Flight on Friday.
Hertford County saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tre'Vyahn Thorne, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3. Hunter Leo was another, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 1-for-3.
Camden County's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-4. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs on average over those games. As for Hertford County, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-13.
Everything went Camden County's way against Hertford County in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, as Camden County made off with a 14-1 victory. Will the Bruins repeat their success, or do the Bears have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
