Barberton has enjoyed a four-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will face off against the Buchtel Griffins at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Saturday, Barberton ended up a good deal behind Cuyahoga Falls and lost 52-33. Barberton has not had much luck with Cuyahoga Falls recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
Meanwhile, Buchtel's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their third straight defeat. The match between them and Norwayne wasn't particularly close, with Buchtel falling 61-47.
Barberton has traveled a rocky road recently having lost 14 of their last 15 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-18 record this season. As for Buchtel, they now have a losing record at 10-11.
