The Life Christian Academy Lions can finally bid farewell to their eight-game losing streak thanks to their game on Thursday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Specially Fit Academy 59-57. The victory was just what Life Christian Academy needed coming off of a 88-33 loss in their prior matchup.
Life Christian Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Dan Morales, who scored 20 points. Jaden Dinzey was another key contributor, scoring 15 points.
Life Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 2-14. As for Specially Fit Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 13-12.
Life Christian Academy won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Oasis Christian at 4:00 p.m. on January 19th. Hopefully Oasis Christian focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 22 last Tuesday. Specially Fit Academy will be staying on the road on Monday to face off against Bell Creek Academy at 7:30 p.m. on January 22nd.
