After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Maize, Eisenhower was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 64-43 margin over the Goddard Lions. The Tigers' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Eisenhower got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Pierce Blue out in front who almost dropped a double-double on 15 points and nine boards. Kasten Koehn was another key player, putting up eight points along with seven assists and three steals.

Eisenhower smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 11 offensive boards. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their offensive rebound total in three consecutive games.

Eisenhower's victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 2-4. As for Goddard, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-5.

Eisenhower didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 60-56 defeat against East on the 11th. As for Goddard, they will face off against Maize South at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Goddard is facing Maize South at the right time seeing as Maize South is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
