Even though the Barker Bulldogs scored an imposing 55 points on Tuesday, the Medina Mustangs still came out on top. Medina secured a 59-55 W over Barker. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Medina.
Leading Medina to victory were Jerrell Nealy and Christian Moss. Nealy scored 20 points along with eight rebounds, while Moss dropped a double-double on 21 points and 11 rebounds. That's the first time this season that Moss scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Cole Callard, who scored nine points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Medina's win bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Barker, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-4.
Medina will look to defend their home court on Friday against Wilson at 6:30 p.m. As for Barker, they will head out on the road to take on Royalton-Hartland at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
