Southern Valley won the last time they faced Gibbon and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Southern Valley Eagles breezed past the Gibbon Buffaloes to the tune of 58-29. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 matchups by 22 points or more this season.

Gibbon's loss came despite strong showings from Claire Clark and Kassandra Trevino. Clark posted ten points and five rebounds, while Trevino put up ten points in addition to five boards and three steals. Trevino has been hot, having posted two or more steals the last six times she's played. Sophie Schuster also deserves some recognition as she scored her first points of the season.

Southern Valley pushed their record up to 17-5 with the victory, which was their tenth straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.5 points over those games. As for Gibbon, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-19.

Coming up, Southern Valley will venture away from home to challenge Dundy County-Stratton at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Gibbon, they will host Ravenna at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
