The Genesee Bulldogs's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their eighth straight loss. They took a serious blow against Kamiah, falling 67-28. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Genesee in their matchups with the Kubs: they've now lost seven in a row.
Despite the loss, Genesee still got an impressive performance from Seth Vestal, who scored eight points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Genesee dropped their record down to 1-16 with that loss, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season. As for Kamiah, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-6.
Genesee will stay at home for another game and welcome the Pirates at 7:30 p.m. on February 2nd. Kamiah's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Loggers at 7:30 p.m. on February 2nd.
