Two missed two-point conversions cost 
Marshwood (South Berwick, Maine) as it fell 44-42 to 
Mt. Blue (Farmington, Maine).
After taking the lead on a kick return in the first quarter, the Cougars led 26-21 at the half.
Mt. Blue expanded its lead to 11 points entering the fourth quarter. MB scored two times in the third, including once on a 
Chad Luker touchdown run.
The Farmington school's standout player in the win was Luker. The senior ran for two touchdowns. He has now scored 18 touchdowns on the season.
The Hawks came in allowing just 13.2 points per game this season. Marshwood struggled against the Cougars' offense, which entered the game scoring 37.1 points per game.
The defeat comes as a step back for Marshwood, which notched a 21-20 victory over York in its previous outing.
