In what's become a running theme this season, the Rockhurst Hawklets gave their fans yet another huge victory on Tuesday. They took their match on the road with ease, bagging a 71-34 win over St. James Academy. While fans of Rockhurst might be used to big wins, the 37-point margin marked the team's biggest victory yet this season.
Rockhurst got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Brady Maher out in front who scored 17 points. Cohen Robinson was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with four steals.
Rockhurst pushed their record up to 13-6 with that win, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.8 points per game. As for St. James Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-11.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rockhurst will take on the Saints at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Saint Thomas Aquinas will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak. As for St. James Academy, they will be playing at home against the Jaguars at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Blue Valley West presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Thunder in Kansas (the Jaguars are ranked tenth, while the Thunder are ranked 224th).
