The Milby Buffs can finally bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They didn't even let Sharpstown onto the board and left with a 21-0 victory. The win was just what Milby needed coming off of a 56-7 loss in their prior match.
Milby's win bumped their record up to 3-6. As for Sharpstown, their defeat was their sixth straight at home (dating back to last season), which dropped their overall record down to 0-8.
Milby will take on Austin at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Sharpstown, they will head out on the road to face off against Waltrip at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Waltrip is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.
