The Argos Dragons won the last time they faced the South Bend Career Academy Trailblazers, and things went their way on Friday too. Argos walked away with a 60-48 win over South Bend Career Academy.
Leading Argos to victory were Luke Stults and Sean Richard. Stults scored 20 points along with seven rebounds and five assists, while Richard scored 26 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. That makes it four consecutive games in which Richard has scored at least 25% of Argos' points. The team also got some help courtesy of Mekhi Austin, who scored seven points.
The win got Argos back to even at 2-2. As for South Bend Career Academy, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season.
Argos won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Pioneer at 7:30 p.m. on December 16th. As for South Bend Career Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Morgan Township at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Morgan Township has insisted on making their lastfour contests complete nail-biters, turning in a record of 2-2 during that stretch of close contests.
