Basketball Recap: Wednesday's Victory Is Frontier's Third in Last Four Outings

Frontier won the last time they faced Caldwell, and Kelsey Dye did her part to make sure it happened again. The Frontier Cougars had just enough and edged the Caldwell Redskins out 35-32 thanks to Dye, who dropped a double-double with 15 points and 15 boards. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in rebounds.

When it comes to explaining why Caldwell lost on Wednesday, don't look at Breighlee Moracco. Despite the final result, she posted ten points in addition to five assists and five boards. Moracco is also crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Lyla Lowe was another key player, putting up six points and 11 rebounds.

Frontier has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season. As for Caldwell, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-15.

Frontier has already played their next contest, a 57-44 win against Malvern on the 15th. Caldwell does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
