The Riverside Rams had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10 points), and they went ahead and made it four on Saturday. They blew past Pennsauken Tech 71-45. With Riverside ahead 40-20 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
Pennsauken Tech's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of James Stout, who scored 23 points along with eight rebounds and three steals, and Omari Spencer who scored 15 points along with eight rebounds and two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Stout has scored all season.
Riverside's win bumped their record up to 8-11. As for Pennsauken Tech, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-14 record this season.
Riverside will be playing in front of their home fans against LEAP Academy at 5:15 p.m. on Monday. LEAP Academy is coming into the contest with three straight victories on the road, so Riverside is out to stop a squad with plenty of momentum. As for Pennsauken Tech, they will square off against Camden Catholic at TBD on Monday. Pennsauken Tech will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps New Jersey Rankings (they are ranked 424th, while Camden Catholic is ranked 61st).
