Olympic is 3-0 against Porter Ridge since November of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Wednesday. Having just played yesterday, the Olympic Trojans will get right back to it and host the Porter Ridge Pirates at 7:30 p.m. Olympic is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

While Olympic didn't have the best season last year (they finished 5-20), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They enjoyed a cozy 63-48 win over South Mecklenburg on Tuesday.

Olympic found their leader in sophomore Jaden Hardnett, who posted 13 points.

Meanwhile, Porter Ridge played a tough contest on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were beaten by Ardrey Kell 80-53. The Pirates have struggled against the Knights recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Olympic will have to contain Reid Johannes as he made an impact in Porter Ridge's last game. He dropped a double-double on 22 points and 17 rebounds. Johannes is on a roll when it comes to boards, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last four games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Ziggy Harris, who made all 5 shots he took to post 13 points.

Olympic's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-0. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.0 points per game. As for Porter Ridge, their loss dropped their record down to 2-7.

Olympic strolled past Porter Ridge when the teams last played back in December of 2022 by a score of 80-63. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was Porter Ridge's Kyler Harris, who almost dropped a double-double on 23 points and nine rebounds. Now that he won't be playing on Wednesday, will it be easier for Olympic to walk away with another win? There's only one way to find out.
