Canutillo has gone 9-1 against Jefferson recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Eagles will square off against the Silver Foxes at 6:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Canutillo has eight straight victories, Jefferson has four straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Canutillo's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. Everything went their way against Chapin as they made off with a 13-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won seven games by six runs or more so far this season.

Landon Flores was a standout: he got on base in all three of his plate appearances with three runs. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April of 2025. The team also got some help courtesy of Ashton Dupri, who went 2-for-4 with two runs and two RBI.

Canutillo kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. They are 7-1 when they post 11 or more hits.

El Paso hit Jefferson with a five-run fifth inning on Friday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Silver Foxes lost 11-1 to the Tigers.

Jefferson's loss dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Canutillo, their victory bumped their record up to 12-8-1.

Jefferson's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Canutillo hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .352. It's a different story for Jefferson, though, as they've only averaged .247. Will they be able to contain Canutillo's hitters?

Canutillo beat Jefferson 8-3 in their previous matchup back in April of 2025. Do the Eagles have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Silver Foxes turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
