Meanwhile, Lordsburg got the win against Navajo Pine on Thursday by a conclusive 22-1. The Mavericks haven't had any issues with the Warriors recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.
Justin Platz and Isaac Murillo were a major factor while hitting and pitching. Throwing, Platz tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Murillo tossed two innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (five). At bat, Platz scored two runs and stole Five bases. while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances, while Murillo went 3-for-5 with one home run, four runs, and five RBI.
